Default Photos: YSSY spotting at sunset

Hi all

Last week on the 30th May, myself and 9 others did the Tarmac Tour and thoroughly enjoyed it! Afterwards, for those who were still plane eager, after a visit to the Rowers for lunch and the Krispy Kreme for some donuts, we spent the afternoon doing some spotting, and here are some of the results.

As per usual, I get bored too easily with whole shots of aircraft, so I always experiment, it's all still a learning curve to me.

Good Friday 2010

Also digging back on the collection abit, I spent the afternoon at the airport also doing some spotting after a day at work (On some very nice Double Time and a Half!), and would like to share some of the results.

And my best one of all that afternoon...

Posting all these shots, I only just realised the amount of coverage I've given to Tiger Airways. No, this isn't some subtle marketing attempt, though I will admit to having a soft spot for these planes, as something different for me personally, apart from the usual array of QF or VB 737s.

Thanks for any feedback provided!

Superb! I really admire your shots; you have done very well in capturing a number of scenes. Must say the last one is great! Do post more if you can.

Georgie

Many thanks for that! With your encouragement, I'll share some more when the chance makes itself

Some excellent photos there - especially like the dusk shots with the sunset, clouds and aircraft.

Hiya,

I love your photos, they're tremendous!
That was such breath taking day on that Tarmac Tour, we were spoilt with the good weather.

Would be great to meet you one day & talk planes!!

Keep on buzzing, Cheers

Many thanks for posting those!! I thoroughly enjoyed looking at them. I am no photographer but the depth of field in some of the skyshots was terrific!!
