Default Atlas Air B747-200 inbound

On PP now is N524MC Atlas Air operating QF7538 on descent. Rare to get a -200 these days.

Yes it is hot (fan on watching the cricket though!).

I imagine it will leave later today; they tend not to hang around.

I saw this aircraft come to land as I drove past the airport this afternoon. Definitely didn't realise it was a -200 otherwise might have stayed around to get a shot of it going!

Ah well, other opportunities will present themselves.

N524MC attempted to return to NZAA last night (27/11) but diverted to NZCH due to the runway lighting failure at NZAA.

All to do with U2 band and stage equipment.

MEL is the next concert venue then SYD so some stages go to both cities.
