Default KC-135 a Sydney

Passing the airport this morning and there was a KC-135 parked at the GA area.It looked to be a Hickam bird.

I would presume it is in position to conduct a tow line off the coast of Australia on Monday for USAF assets departing Avalon back to CONUS.

If, for example the B-52 operates back direct to Barksdale AFB, or the B-1's direct to Dyess AFB, they will conduct an AAR off the coast, as they won't depart Avalon with a full fuel load.

Anyway, just a presumption from someone who used to do such things...
