Default Mars Landing Live Event

For those of you interested in following the Mars Phoenix spacecraft landing it /will be televised live on NASA television starting at 3pm PST Sunday. (8am Monday Morning AEST) The broadcast is available via the web at the following link: http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/

While this is not perhaps an aviation event with which you are familiar, it's still very interesting and is well worth your time to check it out.

Not saying I'll be up to watch this event, but I must admit, NASA TV Live do a great job with coverage of the Space Shuttle Missions.

It would be interesting to go down to Tidbinbilla in the ACT and see if they are taking part in the Mission.

Very interesting place to visit if you've got some time. Theres a good museum there as well with lots of moon/space stuff.

Would just love to go inside and have a look.....

US reaction:
"wtf is that"
"a footprint"
"quick, call the military, lets go and destroy them so we get the planet"
